Pete & Joan Wernick: CBMS Presents: Beyond the Grass (Boulder, CO)

Pete Wernick, known for his banjo playing with Hot Rize, and his singer-guitarist wife Joan present one of the West’s most engaging country duets. Joan’s clear, soulful singing and Pete’s masterful picking bring life to a diverse repertoire including traditional bluegrass, vocal duets and blazing instrumentals.
Colorado Bluegrass Music Society will celebrate 51 years of history by kicking off this fundraising series! Beyond the Grass will be an intimate show with interviews mixed in, conducted by Neil Smart (of KGNU’s Old Grass GNU Grass).
The first show of this fundraising series takes place Thursday, May 18, 2023, 7 pm, and will feature performances by Blue Canyon Boys, Pete & Joan Wernick, and Jake Leg.
