Hot Rize at One Night on Sugar Hill (Durham, NC)
November 5 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Come Spend One Night on Sugar Hill! I’m excited and honored to be part of a special one-time-only show — Hot Rize will join Jerry Douglas & Friends for One Night on Sugar Hill at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, NC on November 5.
The program will bring together a cavalcade of musical stars to celebrate the life of late Sugar Hill Records founder Barry Poss and the legacy of the iconic record label he founded. The show will include Ricky Skaggs, Sam Bush, the Seldom Scene, Peter Rowan, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver reunion, Stuart Duncan, Sarah Jarosz, Robert Earl Keen, and more.
The natural venue for this event is the Carolina Theatre of Durham, where Barry served on the board of trustees. Part of the proceeds from this event will benefit a fund dedicated to presenting a recurring annual show at the Carolina in Barry’s honor.
