Lynn Young is a veteran musician and teacher who played in bluegrass and old-time string bands around the country during his 38 years with the US Forest Service. Currently he plays in four different bands, is a regular at the famous Occidental Hotel Jam, and teaches in the Buffalo area. Lynn's students say:

If you play guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, or dobro... you can be part of a bluegrass jam.
Only requirements:
- You must be able to tune your instrument (electronic tuning devices welcome) and
- change smoothly between G, C, D, and A. (Fiddles and basses need to know which notes work with which chords)
